Family Farm History
The Bekings Poultry Farm had its beginnings in 1968 when John worked for the local farmer down the road, where the present farm is.They graded and marketed their own eggs throughout the Ottawa and St. Lawrence Valley area.
In 1977 John and Cora bought the farm from his father. While working on the Farm we have raised six children Sheryl, Kris, Colleen, Alicia, Leanne, David. Presently we have 14000 layers and continue to grade and market eggs. It is truly a family farm. In 2005 we retooled all of our barns into loose housing similar to the way the operation was run back in the 1960’s.
We continue to enjoy being self-employed, independent poultry farmers.
